It's okay, but a little boring sounding to me.

It's alright. I feel pretty neutral to it. It's about the only virtue name, besides Grace, that I can really tollerate.

I love it. I think it’s very pretty.

Not bad, but not great either. It's a name that is lacking in originality and style on its own, but I like it paired with other names, as in having two first names. Here are some suggestions:- Alice Hope
- Chloe Hope
- Emma Hope

I like it. The word itself is vague and unobjectionable. My main cultural associations with it are the myth of Pandora's Box and the "hope is a thing with feathers" poem. As a name, I think it seems sweet and unassuming, which counterbalances the very different, abrupt sound it has.

It doesn't appeal to me. Because of its uncertain etymology, and because of it being kind of an awkward sounding word, and because of its vague implication of lack. I'd rather see Esperanza or Sperantia.
