Re: Choose one :)
Hi Perrine !!!That's a lovely list!! Let's see!Talya 8/10 the "dew" meaning is so sweet and delicate. The name itself is slim and smooth. It is silvery or pale green in my mind. Beautiful Hebrew name without being too religious.Isla 4/10 (Scottish/English pronounciation) 8/10 (Spanish pronounciation) - I love that it means "Island" in Spanish. Its sound in this language is so sensual and lively. It makes me think of the Caribbeans (not as 'holliday' but as huge cultural crossing, well unfortunately because of colonization and liberty) but also full of cheerful lifestyles. For the Scottish pr. I prefer some masculine names such as Lisle and Carlisle.Bella 3/10 this puts me off. Dunya (دُنْيا)
I choose this spelling with y and referred to the Arabic name for "world". 8/10. It Is very evocative. I found it in many texts.Naira 8/10 one of the most famous Indigenous names I know but still simple and melodious.Olivia 3/10 same for Bella: too overused, too trendy, too tacky.Alicia 6/10 once I used to like its sound but currently it is quite dumb.Nephele 6/10 old-favourite itself but as nefilim were supernatural beings I'd like to be careful on using it. Angels are more well-known so the risk to misunderstand their role or meaning is minor so they are more appropriate.

Joanna 6/10 old-fave but currently boring.Nolwenn 8/10 I love this name because of the French singer. I love folk music! One of her collaborations was for a tribute of "Dès que le vent soufflera" one of my favourite song ever. Her name makes me think of the ocean and wind. Rosalia 4/10 Dated. Boring. I currently like Roseline because it is a positive character (despite not a great one) of "La passe-miroir" where she is the chatterbox aunt but at least sincere, loyal and careful... I've already read the book one and I LOVE that series. Did you read it?Grazyna 8/10 just ok. I keep it in my Slavic list.Favourites uhm..too many 8! Is there something wrong in my rating rules? Well.. Dunya and Nolwenn have my vote.Least favourites Bella and OliviaPersonal Name Lists https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/125456
