Re: If I were to have kids tomorrow...
Mine would be, at any point of time...
Lucy Emiliana Faye for a girl. (Both middle names honoring. One of which after my late mother) & Cole Jeremiah Q1: I honestly don't care for Nashville. I think it's really pretenious. (I especially think it's worse for a girl). 'Matilda Nashville' doesn't have the best flow. I can't seem to ignore the fact that they both contain an 'i' sound.Q2: I don't mind Matilda or Emerson but they do sound strange with that given surname, Matilda Mustard especially. And as another user pointed out, it does sound like a character from clue. I like Andrew as well but don't care for the flow of 'Emerson Andrew' but it's doableQ3: I pretty much do, yeah. Sorry. I'd honestly reconsider the middle AND the surname if I was in your position. (Perhaps use the father's lastname instead)

Yeah, based on the comments here, having Nashville and Mustard in the same name seems to be a little too much, although I actually liked that Matilda and Nashville both contained the i sound since it adds assonance, but to each their own. My first name has nothing similar sounding to Mustard, and I still get Colonel Mustard jokes. I figure it's gonna happen anyway with the last name, might as well have a first name that has some nice alliteration with it. But to each their own again. My partner's last name is more normal and I'd consider using his, but I specifically like Emerson and Matilda because of how they sound with the last name Mustard. I will pick a different middle name though. If/When the time comes and I'm naming a real kid, I'd definitely talk with him about last name options. I'd be proud to pass on Mustard though so I'd still consider it. I love Lucy Emiliana Faye as a name and Cole has always been one of my favorites!
