Re: If I were to have kids tomorrow...

Susannah Laurel and Jack Edwin, I think. Laurel, Jack, and Edwin are all family names. I'm unsure of whether I'd use Jack or John nn Jack.
I like Matilda, but I don't care for Nashville. I think the -ville ending makes it not so namey. Matilda Mustard is cute, but it also sounds like a character in a children's book. I think I'd choose something a little more staid with that last name.
I'm not a fan of Emerson, the name or the transcendentalist. I guess I like it fractionally more on a boy. Andrew is fine. I don't like or dislike it. It was very common among boys I grew up with.

Hey, thanks so much for responding. The consensus seems to be that Nashville with the last name Mustard is too much, so I'll take it off the table. Though I originally thought it was close enough to name like Melville (as in Herman Melville) to work as a given name. But I know it's uncommon. Andrew would be an honoring name, it was never a name I loved until I met my partner, lol. Thanks for your thoughts on Emerson and Matilda! I appreciate it!
I love Susannah Laurel and Jack Edwin. Both flow well and are interesting and different without being weird. I personally like Jack Edwin better than John Edwin and it's one less step to have John on all his official paperwork and documents and then go by Jack everywhere else, in my opinion.
