Re: If I were to have kids tomorrow...
I'm big on honouring names and not just for family members but for places, feelings and virtues too. Even colours. That's why Devon and Phoenix are on my boys list, for me they are symbolic.
I'm also big on alliteration, my full name being Millie Mary Mc___ so Matilda Mustard sounds nice to my ears.
I've always liked Matilda, especially with the nickname Mattie, I dislike Tillie a lot. Emerson is my style but has never graced my long list, I think it's okay, I like it as a unisex name. Andrew is a name in my family so I like it as far as an honouring name goes.
If I were naming a real life baby tomorrow...
A boy would probably be Jack. With maybe 1 family honouring middle and 1 virtue.
Something like Jack Herbert Bravery or Jack Phoenix Keith.A girl is harder, there isn't a stand-out name on my list that I'm as sure as right now as I am as sure with Jack. I'm torn between Brooke, Natasha and Alexandria. Right now, Brooke is winning out. The middle names have been a certainty for years as they honour important people.
