It’s nice. A bit plain, though.

I think it's a very pretty name, and it numbered among my favorites once upon a time. I pronounce it eh-LAY-nah.

It's ok

I'd use Helen, Eleanor or Elinor. It wouldn't be Elena then, of course, but that's just fine by me! I have no context for Hispanic names, and no reason to use one.

Elena is very pretty and not too popular. I love it!

I think I'm in the minority here, but I pronounce it like eh-LEH-nuh (basically like Ellen with an uh sound on the end).
I really love this name. It's beautiful. I wouldn't spell it any other way, because with the way I pronounce it, spelling it Alayna wouldn't make any sense.

Gorgeous. I love it and always have. It’s classy and undeniably pretty. Diana has the same characteristics for me.I prefer Elena over any other spelling, but Alaina isn’t too bad.

I think it's very pretty. It wouldn't occur to me to want to spell it any other way, though I do think Alaina and Alayna are attractive spellings.

I would pronounce it eh-LAY-na.No, please no. Alaina is a completely different name to me (feminine form of Alain) and it looks trendy. Elaina looks like a variant of Elaine. And Alayna is trendy.
