I think it’s gorgeous.

I love it, but think its maybe a bit too much to use on a real person. I also love Galilea.

I love Galatea! It's dreamy and clearly mythological but also accessible. Gala would be such a cute short form.

I kinda like it. I like Gaia more though. This name gives me a very nice space vibe.

I love Galatea it's so fancy. Tea "Tay-ah" is a cute NN though I'll admit it would be mistake for tea the beverage. Perhaps with that said the latter spelling would be better. I've heard some good things about the nn Gala too although I personally am not as in love with it

Galatea seems vast, pompous, noisy. I have nothing against long names, but I feel the need to shorten it. And I don't like any NNs. Gala, Tea? Nope.

Don't really like them

I don't like it. It's too weird and narcissistic.

The myth (inanimate object of desire that comes to life) creeps me out a bit, and I don't love the meaning, but the sound is pretty.I've been liking Gala and Thea recently.

I love Galatea. The painting "The Cyclops" by Redon, depicting Polyphemus and Galatea, is one of my favourite works of art. It's a very graceful name, in my opinion. I'd love to meet a Galatea! I think I prefer Galatea over Galateia. It seems a bit tidier.
