Rose
To some, this name is boring and cliche. To others, it's sweet and romantic. Personally, I love the name Rose. What are your thoughts on it? Or, do you prefer a variant of it? Rosa, Rosalie, Rosina?"You're a firework. Show your obstacles your brightest colors."-MeRate my name lists too!

I concede: its very pretty and dignified, but I am bored of it as a middle name and first name. Its not necessarily cliché though.I prefer names containing rose, they feel less plain to me. Rosa, Rosalia, Rosalio, Rosario, Rosalinda (my favorite!), Rosabella, Rosabelle.. The others, I do not too much care for.Its a good name, but too common for my taste. Rosie is a cute nickname. But any name containing Rose will have Rose as the first anyway! Its like you can't get away from it..

I like Rose a lot. It’s a name I would seriously consider. Classic, glamorous, and elegant. Rose is a flower name I would mind having myself.Rose as a middle name? Pass. Doesn’t do it much justice.

I’ve always thought it was the name of an odd, awkward person. Someone in a stiff necked Victorian dress who is unbearably strange and unattractive. Usually I don’t get such a specific mental image, but I’ve always had one for Rose and I’ve always despised it. Rosie is cute, though. Rosalie and Rosalind are my preferred Rose names.

By itself, it's a sickly-sweet cliche. As a nn for, say, Rosemary, it'll do. The Ros- names I like best are Rosamond and Rosemary.

Rose is lovely, it should be more common as a first name. I'm tired of it as a middle name, like Marie.I also like Rosa, Rosalie, Rosalyn / Roselyn / Rosaline / Roseline, Rosella and Yiddish Raisa.

I like Rose on its own and agree with you.
