Maggie is my favourite, but Maisy is nice. And Daisy is growing on me.

I love Maggie, Maisie, and Daisy. I like May, Mae, Meg, and Rita. Mamie is a guilty pleasure. Greta is okay, I suppose. The rest I don't care for.*

I think Margo (whichever spelling you prefer is best). It makes zero sense how they get some nicknames, like Peggy. I have a friend named Margo, in honor of her Aunt, Margaret.

Forgot about Maisie, I'll add it late

I prefer it in its full form; if a nn were compulsory, I'd cheat and use Marjorie. If I'd been caught cheating, I'd fall back on Peggy.

Peggy is my favorite, Meg is a close second.

Marg (that's what I call my cousin Margaret).

I can’t believe anyone hasn’t mentioned Daisy yet! I think Margaret nn Daisy is absolutely adorable. There was a—much beloved—British Princess named Margaret who was called Daisy.

Daisy just doesn't seem as intuitive anymore imo, reminiscent of the days when everyone was named the same top 40 names & so more stretch nicknames were needed. Although I do you like Daisy more as a nickname than a legal name but I really couldn't tell you for what.

Meg is my absolute favourite.

I like Meg best definitely, it's sweet. But I guess I have something of a soft spot for Peggy even though I don't really like how unnatural a derivation it feels.

I find them all a little distasteful (which is surprising since there are so many) but I suppose Maggie is cute. Followed by Meg and Midge. If we're talking about other variants though, I like Greta and Margot.
