I'm indifferent.
Definitely Holly.
US: pretty dated but still usable.
Image: sweet, caring, fun loving.

Holly sounds pretty, like a girl that is all happy and cheerful and happy 24/7 and never gets angry. Sounds festive, but it doesn't have to be festive. Hollie is just as nice.

I love Holly! Hate how people use it in a festive way, just makes the name sound bad.

Holly is a nice, festive name. But to me, it’s quite boring and I wouldn’t use it. Names like Holly I would use are Noelia, Natalia, or Lumi.

Here it's a bit middle aged, though I can kind of understand the appeal I feel like there are more interesting Flora names out there.

I like Holly. It’s been out of the loop long enough for me to think of it as retro rather than dated, though it’s understandable that it hasn’t made that leap for everyone yet. I just wish it wasn’t so tied to Christmas.

Not my favorite nature name, but not bad. I prefer the Holly spelling.

I'm a huge fan of the name holly, it's sickeningly cute and the nickname Lee or Hal, is a respectable spinoff. to me, Holly is a exotic queer aunt, y'know the ones with a fanny pack.

Holly is a name I find cute and timeless. I'd like to see it along with Noel / Noelle in a sibset.

It does feel a bit dated now. I would be surprised to meet a young one, even though I know it’s still in the top 100. I think it gets a lot more usage around Christmas time.

I know of a Holly in the UK who has I think just completed high school. But she isn't evidence, because her parents, especially her father, are deaf and they chose her name because her dad could more or less say it.
