Izzy - unisex or nah?
What the subject line says :)I’m looking for a nickname that’s at least somewhat unisex. I always found Izzy fun and reminiscent of summer but never really considered it? Also a bit canine but whatever. To the point, how do you guys feel about Izzy as a nn? Would Isa be better? Suggestions are welcome.

I do like it as a nn for Isidore, so it could be unisex imo. I don’t think Isa is any better.

I've known both males and females by the nickname Izzy, so it works for me! Izzy is more fun than Isa, imo. I like Izzy (and Izzie).

I think it works. Very versatile by the amount of names it compasses: Isabella, Ishmael, Israel, Isla, Isadora... I think it also works for Elizabeth or Addison, for instance.Izzy itself is lively and trendy, but not too common.

I think it is. It's the natural nn for Isidore after all.I've always loved how bubbly/full of pizzazz it is, it makes me happy just hearing it :)

Izzy is unisex. I know an Isabella "Izzy" and an Israel "Izzy". It's cute and snazzy, although I've always thought it has very little substance compared to the names it's usually short for. It is a great nickname, though.

Not crazy for Izzy on any gender tbh.
