Vincent
Thoughts? What about Victor?
Also, are there any male names starting with the same letter 'V' that you like?

I love the name Vincent; I find it handsome and enchanting. I also love the nickname Vinny as a full name. As for Victor, it’s also a cool name that I like.

I like it well enough that I considered it for a son. I think nn Vin is cool (don't like Vinnie) and it doesn't really need a nick anyway.
Victor, I also considered. I think Vincent sounds more smart or posh, and Victor more friendly and rough. I like the sound of Vincent more but I like the image of Victor a bit more.Valentine - middle name, I guess, because it's ruined by Valentine's Day. But I like Val and the idea of Valentine-called-Val
Vivian - also middle name because it's conventionally feminine. If I were omnipotent, I'd make it conventionally unisex because I think it's at least as good as a boy name, and there's no reason it shouldn't be one. (Self-consciously antique "Vyvyan" annoys me though)
Vitaly / Vitaliy - I'm kinda mad that there is no traditional English form of it.
Vaughan / Vaughn - I like the sound of it. I guess it's confusing though, because of Von surnames, and also annoying to spell. so not a big favorite.
Virgil - it has a negative image but that could be wearing off? Also might remind some people of 'virgin' ... but I like it on paper

I really like both Victor and Vincent.
Other V names I think sound nice:
Vesper, Vico, Vittore, Valentin

Vincent ... lips too close together, giving an unpleasant impression. I prefer Victor; it's a family name but I'd rather use Vickie (a friend's full name) or Victoria. And I think I quite like Vernon, but I'm not sure.
