I think I am misunderstanding. Are we just listing names of important people, or names of important people that happen to have names we like? I'll just list the latter because it will be shorter. I'm excluding their middle names or first names for either or both reasons: that's not what they go by professionally or I don't particularly like the names.

Because let's face it, I love Paul McCartney, but Paul is pretty common. I don't necesseraly associate the name with him at first thought. But if we take for example... Beyoncé (which is part of her given name actually. Her parents named her Beyoncé Giselle Knowles at birth), well Beyoncé can only be associated with Queen B. No one else.
