Met a guy named this during the weekend. I think he was in his fifties. Highly unusual for where I live.
I'm fairly fond of the English form, Basil, and I'm intrigued by Vasileios, although it's a bit formal for my taste. Certainly cool to see, though.
Looking over some other related names, I found a few other forms that I like: Vasile, Vasya, Vaska, Vasilka and Vasilica.
Do y'all have any thoughts? Any forms you like?
