I don't enjoy many male biblical names, except the thoroughly acclimatised ones: David, Peter, Daniel, James and John.Abel - to do what? More like a word than a name.
Isaac - love the bizarre spelling! My friend's Isaac husband is always called Icky, which is enough to put anyone off. Nice man, though.
Jonah - a victim of his story: whales all the way. Joseph is a better way to achieve a son known as Joe.
Seth - I really like it! Never met one, would never use it, but it's unusual in a good way.Ella could and should be a nickname. Same goes for Bella.
Enid I actually like. Classic but refreshingly underused.
Maya has pronunciation issues: May to rhyme with Day or with Try. I could appreciate May as a mn, but Maya not at all.
I like Levi and Ella.
I love Levi!! I would absolutely use it if it weren't so overwhelmingly common. Same with Ella. I really like it.
I agree with basically all of what New_Chloe said. But adding...
While my impression of Levi is religious-Protestant, it's more lowkey to me; I mostly think of blue jeans.I had a hard time (before encountering it IRL) getting over that Abel is famously/mythically the original murder victim and also that it's basically Able. I've warmed up to it though (as a name for ordinary people) after hearing stories of my coworker's stepson Abel, but I think those things would prevent me from using it still.Jonah (also Jonas) kind of makes me think of WWJD bracelets and people singing Kumbaya. The only name of those I'd consider using is Isaac. Maybe Enid.

I love Ella and Seth.
I like Maya, Isaac, and Levi.I don't care for the other 4.
I really like Enid. It's cute yet sturdy, a combination of qualities that really appeals to me lately.Ella is a very forgettable name, sadly. It used to be a nice vintage choice, although it hardly retains any of its original charms because it's been overwhelmed by the Eliana/Isabella/Bella/Ellie trend. Maya is nice, it feels vaguely tropical and languid. Yet it also seems watered down and flimsy, because it fits in a little too well with the inoffensive beige boho-minimalist aesthetic that is so ubiquitous now. Instead of being exotic, it feels kind of blah, lifeless. Abel is really cute and sturdy and sweetly unfashionable, just like Enid, so that's nice. Abe would be a cute nickname.Isaac is classic, nothing to sneeze at, and I like Ike. It has a lovely meaning. This used to be one of my favourite names.Levi is sharp, but I think it gives me the wrong sort of vibe - it should be a down to earth cowboy name, but all I think of is megachurches and prosperity gospel, which is a turn-off for me. Seth is all right. It's soft, which I like in boy's names, but it's also sort of mushy, slurry-like, which sometimes I like and sometimes I hate.Jonah is nice, I love the mouthfeel of the the Jone- beginning, and I love the meaning, and the whale story. I think I might prefer Jonas sliiiiightly more, but Jonah is good. It's a purple colour in my mind (many J names are some shade of purple to me) and I do like that.
I like Isaac, Levi, and Maya.
Thanks! Could I ask why you like these, and dislike the others?
The only name i really dislike is Enid. It's just abrupt and has an ugly sound. Ella sounds like a nickname to me. I don't dislike Abel, Jonah, or Seth. They just aren't my style. I love Maya for the sound and multiple meanings. I like Levi for the meaning to join or unite. And I just like Isaac for the sound.
Thanks so much! Have an awesome rest of your day (I was gonna say evening but everyone here’s in different time zones :-))
Thank you, have a good day 😊
