Amazing synchronicity! I am watching a show and there is a woman named Thea on it at this moment. It suits her, and I like it on her. I do think it seems incomplete, but no more so than Elle. It sounds like the name of philosophy professor's daughter. I say THEE-uh, and that is how the woman on the show pronounces it as well.

I actually have a player in my DnD group whose character name is Thea, so that's what jumps to mind first haha She's a half-elf sorceress, so one of my glass cannons :)

It's so cute and nice name. Also it is better for a nickname for Dorothea or Althea.

I like it, it's both mature and adorable, but I like it better as a nickname for Dorothea, Theodora or Althea. Both pronunciations are good, but I prefer the English one (THEE-ə).

My primary association is with Thea Bowman, a Mississippi nun who is a contender to be the first Black American woman to be canonized in the Catholic Church.

As a given name, it feels incomplete. It might work as a nickname for a Theresa or a Theodora.

It's not bad, but more of a nickname than a full name.

Love the name Thea, short, classy and not over used. I also think Teddy makes an adorable nickname.

It's OK. Pronounced like the last syllable of Dorothea, which is what it usually is. And Dorothea is inconveniently long for daily use.

It's pretty. I pronounce the th - Thee-uh. As if a female Theo.
But I vastly prefer Anthea - British pronunciation stressing the first syllable. AN-thee-uh
