Carl?
What do floks think of the name Carl? (I like it mostly for its association with Carl Friedrich Gauss.)

I love it.Rather, I'm in love with it. I prefer Karl but what the heck, I'm not picky. I'm going through with Karl what I sometimes go through with Richard; any daydreamy fantasy about being swept off my feet by someone lately has been about a Karl or a Richard. It's just one of those names for me.

This is a really cool name! When I hear it, I think of a really good friend of our family, who is also an elder at our old church in Arkansas...

Carl is nice (I think of the poet Sandburg), though I prefer Karl on the whole. It's a neat choice for a name--hardly unheard of, but unlikely to be Karl S. I approve. :)Array
