What is Ziggy short for?

I keep hearing Ziggy - and I'm led to believe it is a nickname (especially as it became popular after this year's Big Brother UK) but I have no idea for what. Can anyone shed some light on this?-------*

Ziggy from Big Brother UK's real name is Zach. I think Ziggy was a throwback from his boyband days lol.
