You could also look at the FamilySearch site online (Church of Latterday Saints genealogy website). It's free to use and you don't have to register. They have the 1881 Census there for all English counties -
London will come under "Middlesex". You'll have to put in a surname for the names to come up - if you put a common surname you should get alot of results.
