Absolutely. I didn't used to be a big fan, preferring
Mary and
Maria, but
Marie has grown on me lately. It's solid but still very pretty. I like that it doesn't sound quite as utilitarian as
Mary and doesn't end in an -a like
Maria (making it a bit less flowery or rhymey with other -a or -ia names).
Off the top of my head I like the combos:
Marie Romaine (but I like almost anything with
Romaine)
