She came from a large family herself, apparently with a strict Catholic upbringing.
Born to Hollywood parents Maureen Paula O’Sullivan and John Villers Farrow:

Theresa Magdalena “Tisa”
It seems most of the children (but possibly not all) had Villiers as a third middle (i.e. Patrick Joseph Villiers Farrow).
I also remember that in an episode of “Finding Your Roots,” they discovered that a historical family surname was Makepeace, and Mia said she wished she had known that, as she would have incorporated it into her children’s names. I thought that was a little ironic.
