I've been thinking about it ever since that one season of America's Net Top Model. The runner-up's name was Melrose, short for Melanie Rose I believe. I kind of like it, probably as a name by it's self, not as a nn. Though I do love Melissa and it's hard to turn that down. My philosophy, if you plan on calling her Melrose then name her Melrose.
