Seibicke's Historical Dictionary of first names has: pet form of names starting with Mark-REMINGTON means "from Rimington", Lancashire; ("Farmstead on the boundary stream")RHETT is explained differently by Hanks & Hodges (1992): "from Dutch 'de Raedt', from Middle Dutch 'raet' (advice)" (invented by Margaret Mitchell)RIGOBERTO is from German RICHBERT (rich/realm + bright/famous)Andy ;—)
