After the myth in Greek mythology of the judgement of Paris. Paris had to choose between the Goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite after Eris had thrown a golden apple in a party with "for the most beautiful one" (kallisti) written on it (because she wasn't invited), and the discussion between the Goddesses began as to who it was meant for.
Paris = the one who had to choose
Nubia = golden
Avalon = apple
Callisto = most beautiful
