Eske is an old Nordic boys name. It means "god spear". Another spelling is Esge and it comes from the name Esker or Esger.
It's not a very common name in Denmark, which could have something to do with the fact that the name Eske sounds like the Danish word "æske", which means "box".
But I think it sounds cute:)

Aha, so it's a prettier version of Asgeir. It reminds me of Eskil ("god kettle" or "god helmet"), which I like, and I think I like Eske too. Thank you. :)
