My name is Margaret, and I've always gone by Maggie. I love my name, but it is a little annoying when people call me "Maggot" or "Mags." Mags isn't so bad, but I only like certain people calling me that. I still really like the name.

I don't understand why people think that my real name is the very ugly Margaret. My real name is Maggie and my wonderful sister named me that when I was born. Sometimes people would say "Margaret!" When they're calling out to me and I don't think that they're talking to me and then they walk over to me and yell at me for not coming over. I don't get why people think that I would want to be called by my "real" name. If I introduce myself as Maggie then it's Maggie! I think that Maggie is a great name just by itself and I very much recommend this name as a name for a future daughter.

I was called after my grandma and it's a name most used for dogs and in made for tv movies ha! My own name is Maggie. It's short for Margaret, though the only people who ever call me that are just trying to be a pain. I love my name, personally. It's not overused, and I think it's cute. Although, other pains find it funny to use insults according to the name such as Miggie (don't ask), or Maggot.
