Seward Mountain is a mountain located in Franklin County, New York, of which it is the highest point. Seward Mtn. Is named after William H. Seward (1801–1872), Governor of New York (1839–1842), and United States Secretary of State (1861–1869). The mountain is part of the Seward Mountains of the Adirondacks. Seward Mountain is flanked to the southwest by Donaldson Mountain, and to the east faces Seymour Mountain across Ouluska Pass.
Seward Smith was an Iowa Republican politician, lawyer, and associate justice of the Dakota Territory Supreme Court.

William Henry Seward, Sr. (1801-1872) was the Secretary of State to Abraham Lincoln when he was assassinated. Lewis Powell, an associate of John Wilkes Booth, attacked Seward the same night as Lincoln's death in an assassination attempt. After infiltrating his house and injuring one of Seward's sons, he snuck into the bedroom and stabbed him several times in the face with a bowie knife. Luckily, Seward was wearing a jaw splint from a carriage accident just a week before. The splint saved his life. That night, Powell also injured Seward's other son, a soldier guarding Seward, and a messenger.
Famous American beat author William S. Burroughs. The "S." stood for Seward. He also appeared as an actor alongside Matt Dillon in Drugstore Cowboy.
This is one of the ugliest names I have ever heard.
Well, this is a new one to me. Or should I say, an OLD new one to me? The name sounds like something that hasn't been used in about 150 years, and I'm pretty sure it sounded elitist even when it was used.
At first glance I thought this said Sewage.
