My name is Skyla. And I will admit, I KINDA don't like my name. But I hate it when other people just complain about the pronunciation of my name. The SPELLINGS of my name. The EVERYTHING of my name. People say that they prefer the name "Skylar". And that's fine...But to all those people who don't like the name "Skyla"...You PEOPLE need to SHUT UP and stop complaining about the name "Skyla". It's so annoying. Most people just talk about the pronunciation. Like what's wrong with the freaking pronunciation!? Jeez, you guys have no SENSE of humor. Gosh.

I named my first born Skyla and I have never met anyone who dislikes it. She loves it and with her last name as Rockett, well not only can you tell I had her when I was still a child myself at 17 or I really like the song 'Afternoon Delight'.

Firstly to all you Skyla's I love your name so much so I called my little blonde hair blue eyed girl Skyla and we all call her Sky and she suits it so much. Personally we liked it more than Skylar or Skyler but each to their own. She goes by name of Sky but has 2 names to mess around with when she's older. Sky or Skyla. Everyone she meets says they love her name.

Why the heck do people hate this name?!
I myself have this name and I do not at all get why I see some people who hate it. I find the meaning in the name is beautiful like a Sky it’s as big as a Skyla’s heart, at least from the Skyla’s I’ve met and myself. I’ve seen comments where people say it sounds like Skylar or Skyler but even if it does, what’s the point in being mad that a mother called their daughter or son Skyla, it’s a gorgeous name and anyone who has it should be proud to have this name.

Honestly, I don’t get why hate the name. I myself have this name, and I love it. It’s somewhat unique and different, and you should appreciate that. Yes I’ll admit, there are other ones like Skylar but don’t hate on Skyla!
