I prefer it as nickname for Theodora or Dorothea. It's a good nn but not as a formal name. I picture a short girl with short hair and interesting eyes.

I like it a lot, either as a nn or a standalone name. I'd probably use it as a full given name, myself.

I think Thea is too nickname-y as a formal name. While I don't care for the name, I'd prefer Theodora with Thea as a nickname. I do not like stereotyping names, as the person makes the name, not the other way around. If people have perception of a person named Thea, then who cares? It doesn't mean she'd fit the perception.

I love the name. I think of a warm loving person. Perhaps a bit of a gossip.

For some reason, I picture a really pretentious in a "I'm smarter than you / My child is brilliant" person to give this name to a child. But don't ask me why. However, I can stand it as a nn for Theodora or Dorothea, both of which I consider way nicer.

I like Thea - and I think it fine as a full formal name. I think of an intelligent but down-to-earth girl. (Sorry, I'm not much good at picturing names.)
