I don't really like Essie, it sounds like a nn to me. I like Elsie though.

Well, I se that I'm a first, but I love Essie. I prefer Essa, but I love Essie because it's my daughter's name (short for Escapade).

I think it would be a wonderful nn for something like Estella maybe. It's just so cutesy sounding to be a real first to me.
