[Opinions] WDYTO Seraphina?
What do you think of SERAPHINA ? I like it but i'm worried it sounds a bit pretentious but i think it would make a nice middlename.

I can see what you mean by the name coming across as pretentious, but I think the nn Fina brings it down to earth.

I absolutely love it. It's not one I would get around to using, but it's fabulous. :-)

I don't mind it and agree that it's better as a mn.

I think it is lovely and not sugary sweet like some other posters think. Contrarily, I believe it is exotic sounding, like Salome or Sabine. I also don't think it is pretentious at all.

I love it, and it's not pretentious.I prefer Serafina, though.

I love it, but it is probably better in the middle. It's a bit much as a first name.

I love it!It sounds so soft, delicate and fairy like. I also like the spelling, Serafina. I think the nn Fina, would be gorgeous. A fresher and beautiful alternative, to the dull and boring Sarah.

I love Seraphina / Serafina! I don't think it sounds any more pretentious or out there than Isabella Isadora, Arabella or any other frilly, four-syllable name. BTW, I first got hooked on this name when my youngest dd had a battery operated Barbie kitten named Serafina. I made a promise then and there that if I ever got a white female kitten, she would bear the name. ;-)

I love SeraphinaI did use it as a mn, but I don't think it sounds too pretentious for a fn. My daughter Sophie's full name is Sophia Ophelia Seraphina.

I prefer SerafinaBut it's OK. And by the way, my friend is named Seraphina Peccilia Hillary, but is called Cecilia. Too bad it wasn't Sera or something else.

It's a bit prettypretty for my taste. But I think it would make a nice middle name, providing the first name isn't prettypretty too. Something like Lily Seraphina would be too much, imo, it's dripping with sugar and pink. Ick.

There's just something I really don't like about it. I guess it strikes me as trying to hard if that makes any sense at all. It could work as an mn I guess though.

I don't like it. I think it *does* sound pretentious, and everyone would just end up calling her Sera. Could work for an MN, though.
