I like Victor. It sounds really strong and virile without being too grizzly. I also like how it's not overly popular.

I like it; every Victor I know has been quite capable of carrying it off, though it could be unfortunate on a nervous guy with a beige personality.

I don't like the run-on effect you get with a mn that starts with a vowel. Victor Francis or Victor Franklin would be distinctive; also Victor Patrick.

I really don't like this name. But that's just my opinion. I think it sounds too.. not dated but out of style. and I don't like that the only nickname I think of is Vicki

I had two uncles and a former pupil, and they were all Victors and all known as Vic. No problem at all, and no Vicki either.

Vic can also be short for Ludovic, of course.
