[Opinions] Opinions on Morgana
Today at work I was lusting over Morgan (b), which is pretty normal for me. I soon got myself all angry about all the female Morgans when there's a perfectly functional female alternative to Morgan: Morgana. Then I found myself kind of liking Morgana, which I'd never given much of a thought to before now. WDYT of these combos? Have any other ideas?Morgana Amelie
Morgana Aveline
Morgana Beatrix
Morgana Bellatrix (way too much, but it flows nicely)
Morgana Bonnie
Morgana Damaris
Morgana Eibhlin
Morgana Iris
Morgana Jane / Jean
Morgana Josephine (too frilly for my taste, but nice nonetheless)
Morgana Katherine
Morgana Lavender
Morgana Lilac
Morgana Rachel
Morgana Tamsin (Something about this really works for me. Not sure what it is, though.)
Morgana VioletAnd speaking of Morgan, WDYT of Morgan Lennox? Lennox is a weird one for me, cause it definitely follows trends, but it's also Shakespearean and it begins with an L and ends with an X and that's cool. I like the combo as a whole.

What about Morgana Bellamie instead of Bellatrix? Nice flow; better associations!Morgana Tamsin is very Cornish - perhaps that's what your subconscious mind is thinking of! Can't be the -a- sound, because then Lavender would work too, and I don't really think it does. Ditto Damaris.I like Morgana with Jean, Rachel and Tamsin and would like it better with Beatrice than with Beatrix.Morgan Lennox is definitely stylish!

I love Morgana!I like...Morgana Bellatrix (despite its too-muchness)
Morgana Damaris
Morgana Iris (but I'd vastly prefer Morgana Isis)
Morgana Katherine
Morgana Lavender and Morgana Lilac (never would have thought of these)
Morgana Tamsin (I like this because both names are a bit fey; Morgana is the sorceress and Tamsin is the mysterious little fairy creature. Tamsin is also earthy and practical. I like the way these names go together at any rate).
Morgana VioletI'd also LOVE Morgana Joan-- both names are so strong! But I don't like Morgana Jane or Morgana Jean.
Oh, and I like Morgan Lennox. I don't see Lennox as trend following-- it's a surname but it doesn't end in "en"/"an"/"on" and it's a sound that really isn't that popular. I guess there are popular x names like Max and Maddox, but they have a totally different vibe than Lennox IMO. Also it reminds me of the Secret Garden (Mary Lennox)...

Truthfully, Morgana sounds kind of like it's trying too hard. It's too dramatic for me. I think a Morgana would need a simple, down-to-earth middle name, like Morgana Eve or Morgana Blythe

I LOVE Morgana. I'm with you. Morgan is a friggin' awesome name on a boy ONLY. It makes me seethe when it's on a girl. Even though I know it's a legit girl name, blah blah blah. Morgana is a recent love of mine as well. My combo is Morgana Lily. I think Lily is light and girly enough that it softens Morgana's darker vibe. So I'd go with a "lighter" middle name. From your combos, I like Morgana Iris, Morgana Katherine, Morgana Lavender, and Morgana Tamsin, but I'd say you need to go even a little lighter and softer and fluffier (sorry) than that. My suggestions:Morgana Claire
Morgana Isabel
Morgana Cecily
Morgana Skye
Morgana Laurel
Morgana Charlotte
Morgana Kate
Morgana Selene
Morgana Gwyneth
Morgana Aeronwy
Morgana Bryony
Morgana Lucy
Morgana Jessamine
Morgana Jasmine
Morgana Daisy
