[Opinions] March
No idea why but I'm currently in love with the idea of a girl named March. So Wdyt of "March" on it's own? What about a combo like "Mary Charles" (both family names) with nn March- or Marjorie nn March? photo image_zps4f7ff53c.jpg

March is my favorite month name for a boy, but Mary Charles, nn March, is weirdly appealing. I have the urge to sit down and make a list of "Mary + Masculine Name" combos now. March could also work anywhere Marcy might, like for Marsha or Marcelina.

Oh man, I love the idea of combining first and middle name to make March. That's awesome! Mary Charles is good. You're okay with a masculine name in the middle, I take it. Also...
Marianne Charity
Mariam Charlie
Marcella Channing
Margaret ChelseyMarjorie nn March is super cute. Just on it's own, March would be fine for a gutsy parent who could handle the looks. :) There is nothing inherently wrong with it besides that it is a word that is not used as a name. But it sounds fine, has no awful meaning, it's just a bit weird.

I really like March too! I wonder why it's never (or not that I know of) been used as a girl's name? Mary Charles makes me dry heave but Marjorie nn March is kinda cute.I don't see why March can't be used as a name on its own. April and May are! eta: now I'm thinking about the combo Susannah March. I might have to steal March from you!

I don't like it much.
I have January as my top GP boy's name, but March I don't like because it's a verb as well. March, marching, marching bands... Just like how I love Summer and Autumn, and Winter is okay, but Spring never sounds good to me cos it it being a verb. Marjorie nn March is okay, better than March being a full first name.Mary nn March is kind of odd though. It doesn't link at all to me. I'd never use Charles as a name for a girl! Even if it's a family name, there are female versions of it.

Reminds me of "Little Women".It's not that bad as a nickname for something like Marjorie or Mary Charles. Actually, I really like the sound of Mary Charles. It's different.

March makes me think of Mars and war. It sounds very masculine to me, even as a NN.
