[Opinions] Linda
WDYT, and is it too 1950s-sounding to use? It has a pretty sound to me, but I'm not sure if it's too out-dated to use or what. Also, what middle names do you like with Linda? WDTYO Linda June?--

I love Linda. I know two. One is my student council advisor, she's around 50, but she's one of the best people I've ever known. And the other is 15, and full of spunk. One of my closest friends. We call her Lil' Lindy so we don't confuse her with Linda the advisor (all my friends are Student Council dorks), but she doens't like Lindy unless there is a Lil' in front, and she much prefers Linda. So yah, Linda's a good name. I especially like that it means "beautiful" in Spanish. I don't think it sounds too old at all (though I did when I was younger, but now I know "Lil Lindy").I really like Linda June. It has a nice ring to it.
Some other suggestions:Linda Anne
Linda July (Hehe, it just popped into my head)
Linda Rose
Linda Violet
Linda Isabelle
Linda ALexandra
Linda OctaviaEverything seems to work with Linda! Any style, any ending. I think it's a great name!
Julia KeelanWarning! May start singing songs from any of the following musicals spontaneously:Mamma Mia, Rent, We Will Rock You, Wicked, or Spamalot!

Despite the fact that it sounds dated to some, I think that Linda would be a nice name to see on a girl these days (then again, there are several other "outdated" names that I like).

I think Linda is a beautiful name. Linda June is pretty but what about Linda Claire (if your own name is Claire) to honor mom?I think Linda may sound dated in USA b/c it was so very popular. It is not the same where I live, since Linda is not that popular. My daughter's best friend is named Linda. Lina (LEE-na) and Linnea are more popular here."But it’s all right now.

I think it's extremely dated, and find it rather ugly, sorry. What about Linnea (lyn-AY-ah)? Linda June is lovely, though.

I think it has a nice sound, which is just further proven by the popularity (or upcoming popularity) of Lindsey, Lindie, and Linden. I think people still like the Lind sound, but think the name Linda itself is dated. However, it has 2 syllables & ends in an A like other currently hip names like Ava, Mia, etc. I also love that it literally means pretty in spanish.

I think Linda has a pretty sound, but it is my SIL's name so I would say NO WAY to using it. I prefer Rosalind or even Lindsay for use.

My mother must have 4 or 5 friends named Linda. Nancy and Linda seem to be the most common names in her age group. Yeah... too dated for me. I'd prefer something like Linden or Lindie anyway.

I think it has a very pretty sound & I think is fresh. I have really been liking June lately, and Jane. I think I might prefer Linda Jane.
