I really like it. It's technically a masculine noun, though, so it might seem a bit unfeminine to anyone who knows French. While I'm at it, I can kind of imagine it on a boy. In fact, I actually really like it for a boy as well as for a girl!

Soleil + Esther "star" and Soleil + Roxana "bright / dawn" didn’t occur to me, but I find it very cool!

It's got huge pronunciation issues, and is masculine in French anyway. My uncle used to live in a house with a name: Beau Soleil! It was a very ordinary little suburban bungalow, not much garden, not much outlook ... perhaps he found it amusing, or impressive, because he always used the name together with the number. I'd never use it or think of using it. But, from your mn list I like Frances, Diana, Miriam and Mirabel, and Eve. And, playing with the sound, they could work with Sally instead of Soleil:Sally Frances
Diana Sally
Sally Miriam, or Miriam Sally
Sally Mirabel
Evelyn Sally, nn Eve

I actually really like the double-name Marie Soleil (https://www.behindthename.com/name/marie00soleil/submitted), which has seen some use in Quebec.

When I was combing the board for Soleil posts before I posted this, I saw your comments about Marie Soleil, and I also find it very pretty :)
