[Games] Collaborative Namebank Compromise Congrats [Signup/Round 0]
This is a multi-round congrats game that will include some elements of working with a partner to name a shared family. It'll last probably 7-9 rounds depending on interest, and there will probably be a few days between rounds to give everyone some time to get to it. If you miss a round, I will play for you, but you're very welcome to rejoin at any time. How will this work?
  • Round 0: To sign up, you will name two SOs and then provide two namebanks of at least 16 names for each gender. You will answer a couple of extra questions that might help me pair people.
  • Round 1: You'll find out who your partner player is. (I will have picked one of your SOs to put with theirs.) You'll make two combos from a namebank that your partner provided. For names you didn't use from the namebank, I'd appreciate if you'd let me know which ones you especially liked but didn't pick, and ones that you would never want to use in the future.
  • Round 2+: You will pick between the 2 combos your partner made last round to add to the family. You'll make two more combos. You will provide another namebank for your partner to pick from in the future.
  • Final Round: You will just be picking between the two combos your partner made last round so we can finish off the families.
  • Final Families: I'll then do a final families post so that we can review how it all went.

The Signup FormSO1:
SO2:Masculine Namebank: [Fill in 16+ names here for your partner to pick from in the future]
Feminine Namebank: [Fill in 16+ names here for your partner to pick from in the future]1) How many middle names do you prefer to have in a combo?
2) How much do you like coming up nicknames to go with a combo? If you do, what are a few examples of nicknames you like?
3) What is a popularity list (https://www.behindthename.com/top/) that has quite a few names you like on it? (If you're picking a list with more than 100 names on it, can you please give a rough # range such as #200-#300?)Want some inspiration for naming the SOs? Here are a couple of links you can use-

No more than two middle names though.
2) I like using the long name as a given name, but if I like the nickname I'll use it (i.e. Theo for Theodore, Lena for Marlena) or sometimes loosely based sound nicknames (i.e. Aces for Astra).
3) American early 2010s, towards the 100-300 range
