Lyra & Vega are the only related twin names I'd ever consider using (both as girl names, of course). I pronounce Lyra LIE-rah and Vega is more like VAY-guh when I say it.

Wdyt of each name separately? As twins? What mns would you pair with Lyra and Vega?

I love both names. They also fit beautifully as twin names - what with the star theme and everything.

I prefer Lyra, Vega is okay and has an interesting meaning but something puts me off it not sure what
As twins its not an obvious theme so isnt too cutsy

I like both names seperately, but together, they sound a little too similar. They're not entirely related, but too much for my taste, really.

I agree with your pronunciations, too.

For mns, I don't think you should pair them with something also having to do with astronomy- something unrelated, like Maria or Elizabeth.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

They're okay. I like Vega but I wouldn't ever use it. Lyra is pretty, also. Together they are super cute.

I suggest the middle names be a tad bit longer than 4 or 5 letters. Maybe even 7 or 8 letters.

Lyra: I say this lear-uh (more like Lyric), but LIE-rah is nice.
Vega: Interesting but not over the top. Good choice.
I tend to agree with you about the level of connection. It's there, but not too obvious. And I like the idea that they are cosmically connected.

I like it. I like twin names which have a not-so-obvious connection. Lyra is very beautiful and feminine. Vega is nicely unusual and somewhat edgy. I think they fit together quite nicely.
