I've always really liked this name. Alana is my fave spelling, but Alannah is nice too.

None, actually. There are too many possible spellings and pronunciations for it. Would be too confusing, imo.

In order of preference: Alanna, Alannah, Alana.

I can never decide how to pronounce Alana; is it like Alanna or Allana?

I like Alana (ah-LAHN-ah) very much and prefer the Alana spelling followed by Alanna.

Alana, by far.

Alanna is decent.
Alannah is soooo terrible.

I pronounce it with a soft second a, instead of a hard one.

I perfer Ilana though. prn EE-lahn-uh.

I love Alana (this is my favorite spelling because of its simplicity) and think it is an extremely pretty name that ages well. The Alannah spelling is the only one I don't care for because the 'h' at the end looks odd to me and seems unneccesary.

I lika Alana (which I would like to say "a-LAHN-a" and Alanna (a-LAN-a). Alannah looks faux biblical, why the extra H?

I really like it. It's not overly used (right now) and hopefully it won't become overly used!

My favorite spelling is Alanna. I like the look of the double n, but I don't really like h's on the ends of names.

I like it. It's pretty, but not overly common or as obscure as some of the other names I like. I prefer the Alannah spelling. My favorite combo is Alannah Isolde.
