I'm nameless!
Neither of my names have ever ranked in the Top 1000.My first name is a mixture of Louise and Anne and my middle name is a form of Sarah, so I could use those. Actually, just Anne and Sarah cause Louise wasn't in the Top 1000 the year I was born!Anne - #153
Sarah - #4So my 2013 name would be Lyla Isabella. Not a fan of Isabella, but I like Lilah spelt this way (or Lila). But my aunt is called Laila (same pronunciation) so that wouldn't work IRL.Still, I like both of them better than my actual given first name, but I'll stick with my middle name, which is what I'm actually called.

For fun, the girls namesLooking at my 3, their 2013 names would be:Sass - #1 #246 = Sophia Lexi
Boof - #713 #31 = Kristen Zoe (same middle name!)
Pixie - #130 #597 = Kendall MilanI like Sophia much much better than Emma, but apart from that I prefer their real names. Pix is most defintely NOT a Kendall.

My daughter's middle name is Zoe, also, and it was not even in the top thousand the year that she was born. And now it's 31. And if you combined Zoe and Zoey (which is certainly an abomination), it would be higher than that. I used it as a middle name because it was a family name, my mother's first name and my grandmother's middle name, and a highly unusual one at that. I never foresaw that it would become this popular. It bothers me. It was distinctive, now it's not. Well, I could be seen as a trendsetter, except I really wasn't, as I never would have used Zoe if it hadn't been a family name. I'd been brainwashed that it was horrible and I still believed that when I used it as a middle name in 1982.

Yeah, I don't get Zoey at all :/I just think Zoo-ee. Not an attractive spelling! Zooey is even worse.I don't think as a middle name, popularity matters much (unless you're like me and go exclusively by your middle name).Zoe is a family name for these guys too. The Nonna is called Zoe so it's after her (all 3 of their middle names - Lola, Zoe, Marie - are family names. It's the only one of their names I like, actually! Boof would so suit having Zoe as her fn rather than her mn.
