What is your 2013 name?
Look up where your first and middle names ranked the year you were born and find the name that ranked the same in 2013 to come up with your new name. For me:
Lily Avery
Kind of a tongue twister.

Isabella EmilyI like Isabella but not Emily...and the combo just seems so trendy! Of course, I'm sure Jennifer Nicole was the same way when I was born :-)

Based on the US ranking I would be Scarlett. There's a three-way tie for 274, so my mn is either Annabella, Kaydence or Lyric.I'm going with Scarlett Annabella.I sound like a southern belle.

Before the name change, I'd have been Bella Piper. After the name change, I'd have been Phoenix Hadley which I sort of like in a strange way.BTW, I should have been named Kelly Elizabeth and apparently, my mother lost her mind after my birth. ;-)

Hannah Taylor. Not bad.
vote up1
Either Marie Julia, Regina Julia, or Isis Julia - there's a tie for #573 this year and no #574. Of these three I like Isis Julia the best.ETA: My parents would be Noah David and Claire Ximena.

Chloe AylaReally not keen on either...

#5 / #177 - Ava Adalyn. Both nice names, just not together.

Rebecca Simone (25, 758)For 2012, I would be Evie (from australian charts) and it doesn't go as far as 758For the US i'd be
Victoria
And for the middle name: Aimee, Kaya, Kora, Tabitha, Denise, Hadassah, Kayden, Monroe
(All at 756 or 760)I'd choose Kaya
vote up1
I would be Anna Maya Adriana. My sisters would be Olivia Skylar & Ruby Desmond (my sister’s middle name only ranked for males the year she was born)The only name I could actually see my parents using is Olivia, since they did.

Violet Josephine+Wow, Catherine Ann of 1984 (no. 69 and 160) translate into a rather lovely name from 2013. Not a trendoid name in sight!ETA:
My BF would be Gabriel Noah.
My mother would be Jenny Sloane.
My father would be Mason David.
My older sister would be Jazlyn Madison (wow, her actual first name, Lucy, has gone from 483 when she was born in 1980 to 66 now!).
My younger sister would be Hazel -- (her MN is our mom's maiden name and hasn't been ranked [for boys] since 1981, which was before she was born). All pretty ok except for my older sister. I hate Mason too, but Jazlyn Madison is way worse.

Jazlyn Madison is a tragedy.

Sierra Addilyn...ugh. I don't like my name, but I prefer it to Sierra Addilyn. This is fun, so I thought I would do my siblings as well. (If their name didn't rank in the year they were born, I just left their name the same.)Bree Katelyn
Leandro EdwardTarkwyn Loche
Eli Mason
Arya HazelAnd my parents, just for the fun of it:Jaycee
Easton Ethan

My first name (Lia) in the year of my birth was not in the top 1000
My middle name (Ellen) in the year of my birth was ranked 217So seeing as my first name was not in the top 1000, I'll choose the name Rita as my first name.Aniyah is in the 217 spot this year. I don't like this name at all.So my 2013 name is Rita Aniyah.

That sounds like a Jedi name!

Sophia Juliana. It has an Italian feel. Not a bad combination, actually.

Leah Vivian -

Lia Clara. It doesn't really go but I like Lia.Using the England list (as that's where I am) it would be Gracie-Mae Zainab.

In 1983: Jodi was 188, Rae was not ranked but we'll go with 948 (it's ranking the year before)So in 2013 I would be: Summer Moriah.
Oh dear.

Amy Haylee ZariyahI had to cheat for my second mn, since it hasn't ranked since 1975 and I was born in 1986 lolAnd my younger sister would be Madelyn Olive.I gotta say, I prefer our names Tabitha and Cassandra much better!

Chosen name (using rankings from year of birth): Thalia CarolineNot bad at all!

I can' play :( neither of my names ranked the year I was born.

I would be Ximena Middlename (My middle is my mother's maiden name). But anyway, Ximena? Huh? I didn't even know this was a name, but there it is at number 162, and with a +53 after it to boot. Well, I see that it is a Spanish name and that is why I didn't know it existed. The influx of Hispanics into the U.S. explains it. I think it would be pronounced hih-MAY-na.My sons would be Jaxon Case and Everett Alexander. The only name I like among these is Alexander. Jaxon and Case are horrible. Everett is tolerable, but barely. Alexander = nice.ETA sons.

Hi, I'm Chloe..My new name would be:
Chloe Claire Ariel
Nah. The combo sounds weird. I would prefer something like Chloe Claire Seraphina, Chloe Claire Evangeline, Chloe Claire Isabelle...
My mom would be Lauren Denise, Lauren Hadassah, Lauren Kayden or Lauren Monroe. My guess is that she would prefer Lauren Denise. No point in doing my brother or my father since neither of their names will be in the top 1000.

Chloe Ariel Claire would be sort of nice. It has a very...airy-fairy vibe to it.

Your names were 83rd, 4th and 45th in Sweden the year you were born, which would be Emmy Ella Matilda or Joline Ella Matilda in 2013. ;)(PM me if you want the Swedish lists for 1989-1997!)

I love it!And here is my name with my numbers currently in 2013 as they correspond to my birth year.
Louise ShariMy husband would be Jayden Foster (middle name hasn't ranked since 1959, so that's what year I grabbed the number from). My brother would be Caleb Noah.
My mom would be Jocelyn Melody.
My dad would be Bradley Lucas.ETA family names.

ooh, Charlotte Vivian, what a juicy red name. Super nice!

I'd be Kaitlyn Liliana. Lily Avery is easy to say compared to that. :)My son would be Matthew Seth. Seth was actually on my list before he was born, but I don't like the double "th" in this combo.
vote up1
Charlotte JanayaI kept my current middle name as it wasn't in the records for my birth year.My siblings:
Benjamin Dwight would be Caleb Remington.
Richard Dylan would be John Seth.
Juliana Bethany would be Braelyn Faith.
Christopher Cory would be Liam Angel.
Duncan Trey would be Malcolm Lorenzo.
Jessica Hope would be Abigail Ariel. My nieces & nephews:
Aidan Troy would be Cameron Seth.
Elizabeth Rachel would be Madison Ellie.
Leah Rose would be Aria Joanna.
Oliver Michael would be Eric Liam
Ruby Lauren would be Trinity Riley
Caitlin Alexandra would be Francesca SophieI think the only combinations I actually like are Charlotte Janaya, Cameron Seth, Eric Liam & Francesca Sophie. John Seth isn't so bad but there is no flow to it. I really dislike Braelyn Faith, Madison Ellie and Trinity Riley.

I am born and raised in England, at the time of my birth my first and middle names were: #140 and #122 ... in 2012, this would have made my name Laura Iris. Not my style at all! However, for the year I was born if I'd been an American, my names would have ranked: nowhere! and #44 ... making my 2013 name: No-name Arianna Oooh! I love Arianna, shame I don't have a first name! Haha.

Laura Iris is so gorgeous! At least, I think so. They suit each other so beautifully. Iris Laura would be divine too.

For my sister...Her names ranked #394, #110, and #10 (wow, what big jumps!) in America the year she was born, making her 2013 name... Aleah / Catalina Andrea Elizabeth (her second middle name is the same!) It's all a mouthful and neither Aleah nor Catalina would suit her.For fun, in England the year she was born her names ranked #16, #498, and #33, making her 2012 English name... Chloe ____ Lilly - middle name one could have been
Christina, Liyana or Mae since there wasn't one for #498. I prefer Mae out of all of them but Chloe Mae Lilly just sounds really off, Liyana looks terrible and I don't even know how to pronounce it, so Christina it is. Chloe doesn't suit my sister either.
vote up1
How did you find the popularity lists for England? I'd like to see where my name was ranked the year I was born but I can't find any lists earlier than 2005 :)
vote up1
I typed in a name and went from there. But you can also click onto a later year, e.g. 2005, and then use the click down list on the right hand side to go as early as 1996 :)

Thanks! :)

Chloe Karen. DF is Gabriel Henry.
My sibset would be Chloe Karen, Noah Kingston, and Mason Sebastian.Fiance's sibset is Gabriel Henry, Isaiah Fabian*, Julia Elizabeth (middle name is the same), and Anthony Ethan.*Technically it would be Isaiah Nyla, because his middle name is on the girl's side for the year he was born, not the boy's, but I decided to be nice and give him the male name.

This message was edited 5/14/2014, 6:50 AM

I kinda like Chloe Karen. Karen Chloe would be quirkier and fresher, but both of the names seem friendly and blonde and smiley, so they go well together in my mind. The set of Chloe, Mason and Noah is so perfect it's creeping me out and I love it.
vote up1
Audrey DanielaI actually quite like it! It wouldn't have sounded good with my ln, but as a combo, I think it could be a lot worse :-)
vote up1
Alexis. My middle name is my mother's maiden name so that'd stay the same. My brothers would have been Cesar and Callan. That's a mismatched sibset :)
vote up1
No way, Alexis, Cesar and Callan is a wonderfully offbeat set!
vote up1
Kaylee ElsieI almost like yours, Lily Avery. I'm not sure how I feel about that. :/ Ha!For fun, I did the rest of my family's too.DH: Joseph Giovanni (hmm, I like it!)
DS: Samuel Isaac
DD: Valeria (her middle name hasn't been in the top 1000 for 14 years)
vote up1
Born 1991, Kelsey (26) Diane (361) Megan (11)So from that I'd get Lillian Macy Charlotte, which is not as bad as I was expecting with two middle names. I'd do away wtih Macy and flip Charlotte and Lillian.
vote up1
Lillian Macy Charlotte is very respectable! I like the way the double consonants of ll and tt make the combo look so balanced.
vote up1
Emma Alivia. Ew.

My middle names weren't in the top 1000 but Caroline was #168 the year I was born. In 2013 #168 was Michelle. I don't hate it but I do think Caroline is better than Michelle.
vote up1
I used my own country's lists. My names were 3rd and 45th when I was born, and in 2013 I'd be Elsa Matilda. A very good combo actually. :)
vote up1
I'm nameless!Neither of my names have ever ranked in the Top 1000.My first name is a mixture of Louise and Anne and my middle name is a form of Sarah, so I could use those. Actually, just Anne and Sarah cause Louise wasn't in the Top 1000 the year I was born!Anne - #153
Sarah - #4So my 2013 name would be Lyla Isabella. Not a fan of Isabella, but I like Lilah spelt this way (or Lila). But my aunt is called Laila (same pronunciation) so that wouldn't work IRL.Still, I like both of them better than my actual given first name, but I'll stick with my middle name, which is what I'm actually called.
vote up1
For fun, the girls namesLooking at my 3, their 2013 names would be:Sass - #1 #246 = Sophia Lexi
Boof - #713 #31 = Kristen Zoe (same middle name!)
Pixie - #130 #597 = Kendall MilanI like Sophia much much better than Emma, but apart from that I prefer their real names. Pix is most defintely NOT a Kendall.
vote up1
My daughter's middle name is Zoe, also, and it was not even in the top thousand the year that she was born. And now it's 31. And if you combined Zoe and Zoey (which is certainly an abomination), it would be higher than that. I used it as a middle name because it was a family name, my mother's first name and my grandmother's middle name, and a highly unusual one at that. I never foresaw that it would become this popular. It bothers me. It was distinctive, now it's not. Well, I could be seen as a trendsetter, except I really wasn't, as I never would have used Zoe if it hadn't been a family name. I'd been brainwashed that it was horrible and I still believed that when I used it as a middle name in 1982.
vote up1
Yeah, I don't get Zoey at all :/I just think Zoo-ee. Not an attractive spelling! Zooey is even worse.I don't think as a middle name, popularity matters much (unless you're like me and go exclusively by your middle name).Zoe is a family name for these guys too. The Nonna is called Zoe so it's after her (all 3 of their middle names - Lola, Zoe, Marie - are family names. It's the only one of their names I like, actually! Boof would so suit having Zoe as her fn rather than her mn.
vote up1
Kaylee Grace.OMG glad I wasn't born in 2013. OK, Grace isn't bad, just fillerish as a middle name, but Kaylee has to be one of my most despised names ever.

Alexandra Alivia (not into the aliteration, or mn

Giada MadisonGiada Madison. My middle name was one rank out from being the same! My first name was unranked in the year I was born so I had to go for it's position 7 years later.

I would be Chloe Alina. It's not terrible. For fun, other people:
My brother would be Camden Luke.
My mom would be Danica Kendall.
My dad would have been Alexander Cooper.
My cousins would be Delilah Victoria and Lucia Gabriela.
My grandma would be Zoey Zaniyah.
vote up1
My FN is the same... :/And my MN wasn't in the top 1000 in 1992. Now it is #943. There is no #943 for girls in 2013 but for #945 there is a choice of Krystina, Nikole or Salina. This wasn't much fun for me all up. Haha.eta I'm procrastinatingMy brother would be Mason Jamarion
My sister would be Lily MaggieMy dad would be Ethan William
My mum would be Alisson Isabelle - although #950 was a 7-way tie. I prefer Belinda Isabelle out of the other 7!

Esther "Caroline." born 1985. 289, 164In 2013, I'd be Daniella Londyn. Oh dear. In this case, I'd go by my first name.
