Actually, I have heard this name used IRL, and the pronunciation was as LMS stated. Which doesn't mean it is correct - only that it is an accenptable and used way of saying the name. basically - validated.
I checked the pronunciation listed on BtN and it seems to be a mixture of the one LMS suggested (and I did too, in my post above) and the one you prefer.
Even if the name is said My-kay-uh... I think that the rule of vowels in English might alter the natural pronunciation for English-speakers to start the name with ME or MIH, instead of MY. Confusing at first - but a simple correction would help people out if this were a real child's name.
