1. Kurt, but Curtis. Kurtis looks really odd. And Curt is just a word, abrupt and brusque.
2. Beige is ridiculous as a name, and as a color it's become something of a punch line and symbolic of blandness.

1. Kurt because Curt's a word. I like Curtis more than Kurtis though.
2. haha ... "beige" is almost a synonym for the kind of neutral taste that offends no one, but pleases no one either.
