Some E sightings
So the other day I bought something online from someone who used her husband's paypal account, and his name was Jared Endymion (Surname). Endymion. At first I was like woah, so over the top, and seems a bit bizarre with something so dated and mundane as Jared. But that makes me almost like the combo more. And if my middle name was Endymion, I'd definitely go around touting it too.Today at the beach there was a toddler boy named Edison and they called him Eddy for short. I would've told you Edison seems pretty uppity, and I'm not sure I still don't think that, but it was interesting to hear it in real life. It seems more usable with Eddy as a nn.So thoughts on Endymion and Edison? Have any good combos stashed away?

Endymion is amazing for the Sailor Moon connection alone. :D It also just sounds really lovely.Edison nn Eddy / Eddie is nice, though Edison isn't really my style. My favourite "Ed" names are Edmund and Edwin, though Edward is also lovely. But Edison isn't bad; it just sounds very much like a surname and feels a bit clunky. No combos stashed away, but I can make some up off the top of my head:Endymion Roland
Endymion Michael
Endymion Timothy
Endymion Brand
Endymion Roger
Endymion Clark
Endymion Samuel
Endymion Gabriel
Endymion GodricEdison Nathaniel
Edison Richard
Edison Grant
Edison Godfrey
Edison Joash
Edison Arthur
Edison Patrick
Edison Osric

Endymion. Endymion, Endymion, Endymion. Hmm. It's a bit of a doozie, but not terrible I guess. I don't know. Nothing really wrong with the sound of it (in fact, it doesn't even take that long to say), but it looks a bit ridiculous. I don't mind Edison. Not my first choice, but kind of cute. Eddy is sweet. I do know one Edison and he's in his mid-twenties.Edison Josias
Edison Mackenzie
Edison Tadeo
Edison Reid
