Honestly, they may have done it on purpose. I know a sibset of Elizabeth Mary and Isabel Marie. I couldn't hold back saying, "Don't you know they're essentially the same name?" And the parents were like, "Well, of course! We wanted them to match. We think it's cute."

So, it doesn't bother regular people the way it bothers namenerds. My cousin is Megan Margaret (shudder) and my mom, Catherine, has a sister named Karen. It bothers me so much, but no one else seems to care.
