To further Claire's comment below me.

You know how someone named Billy becomes Bill when he's older and most Tommy*s become Tom? And Ania*s become Anna?

Well, in Spain (and other Spanish speaking countries) a Sarina would become a Sara.

Sarina is solely a cutesy form. What you'd call a child or a pet name. Like you would not go into a job interview as Sarina. You'd go as Sara.
