Delmi and Domi = Mary????

I have an acquaintence that goes by the names Mary, Delmi, and Domi interchangably. Are Delmi and Domi established (though seemingly phonetically unrelated) nicknames for Mary (ie Peggy = Margaret), or do you think that these are just individual pet names? Her middle initial is not D. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of anyone use anything remotely like that as a nickname for Mary. I'd say they're individual pet names, like mine. Is she from a specific ethnic group? Maybe that's it.

Thanks for the response. I don't believe the nicknames are ethnic/foreign in origin
