Your Adoptees!Michiko and Akane are twin one-year-old girls from Japan. They were left at the orphanage by a mother who refused to reveal the reason, other than that she will never meet them again. The girls have been raised until they were a few months old by the mother before she gave them up. Now that they are to be adopted, their caretakers wish them the best of families.

Your Adoptees!Lidochka is an eight-year-old girl from Russia. Her mother, a single mother at that, gave her up for adoption just before committing suicide for obscure reasons. She likes to read books and has been able to teach herself bits of English with some help from her friends at the Adoption Centre.Eduard is a ten-year-old boy from Russia. He has grown to befriend Lidochka and made himself her guardian. His mother was very young, and gave him up possibly due to that reason.

Your Adoptees!Gisele Faustine is a ten-year-old girl from Canada. She was given up for adoption after her elderly grandparents could barely manage to care for her anymore. Gisele likes animals and books, and has brought with her a calico cat named Lucienne.Jeremy Joshua is a five-year-old boy from America. His mother neglected him after her divorce and even started abusing him, leading his being sent for adoption. Gisele (12), Thierry (9) and JJ (7)After some difficulties shortly after the adoption, resulting mostly from understanding issues between Thierry and JJ, the family has now really grown together. Every family member is more or less bilingual, and there's a mix of English and French words buzzing around the house.
Gisele started Collège last year and has made a lot of friends in her new class. She currently discovered writing and has started a fantasy story, but refuses to let anyone read it until it's finished. Also she wants to take up riding lessons.
Thierry and JJ play together in the football club of their school - even though JJ is two years younger than his big adopted brother, he plays just as well. Together they score a lot of goals and have become very good friends.

He speaks a little Spanish and likes to play with water and jiggling to fast music.Ashlie and Brandee are twin newborn girls from Detroit. Their mother was a teenager, and gave them up due to pressure from her family, who had barely let her keep the babies anyway. Your Adoptee!Griffin Anthony is a fifteen-year-old boy from Australia. He seems to be a little schizotypal, thinking that he heard people talking to him and having eccentric habits. He has been transferred from one foster family to another, but many can't handle his strange temperaments. However, he does seem to have a talent for the arts, as he is known to be almost a prodigy with the piano and is brilliant with strategy games.

A year later...It took some time until Griffin found his place in our family. He had been in so many foster homes and didn't immediately believe that he was going to be a member of our family permanently. His schizotypal personality has caused some difficulties, and he was hospitalized once when he had quite bad paranoid episode. With his new medication, therapy and support from our family he's now feeling quite good, but still has his problems. We have encouraged Griffin with his hobbies and interests, and we are still suprised how talented pianist he is. Few months ago Griffin played in a concert where they raised money for a children's hospital, and made all of us very proud.
