It's been 8 years since the previous round. Quentin has started a new position at PBS, working on educational history shows for kids. Aliénor has become a brain surgeon in the Mount Sinai Hospital, while their eldest daughter, Beth, has started college, with a major in the culinary arts and a minor in business management, hoping to inherit her grandmother's brewery. Aliénor and Quentin gave birth to their final child, a son.
Willem and Sophie got married in a Catholic ceremony, and gave birth to two kids. Willem ended up securing a job as a bartender at the family brewery-pub.
Alejandro was accepted into the marines and got deployed in Iraq. While on leave, he married Flavie in her parents' house, officiates by a US army chaplain. They then had a daughter and a son.
Dimitri went to Boston to study tayloring and draping at a world-renouned Boston taylor. He ended up falling in love with a local girl, from a prominent Boston Irish family, who is currently studying art and animation in Boston.

Sophie and Willem's daughter's first name is a bilingual spanish-english name, and her middle name was very common in the early 2000s.
Flavie and Alejandro's daughter's first name is a rare spanish name, and her middle name is after her Cuban grandmother.
Flavie and Alejandro's son's first name is a non-spanish name that is still common in LatAm, and his middle name is after his Cuban grandfather.
Dimitri's DGF's first name is a rare american english name, and her middle name is much more common by comparison. Her surname is an anglicized Irish surname.
