I love the name Christos. It sounds so cool! I've only encountered one person with this name in my entire life.

An entrant of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 for Cyprus was a man called Christos Mylordos. Sounds a tad blasphemous, but still amazing in itself.

For Jesus' name (or title, technically), the name is accented on the second syllable (khree-STOS). As a personal name, it is accented on the first (KHREE-stos.) (In Greek writing, an actual accent mark would be used, so the two names would not be written alike.) (I had a great uncle of this name. His English name was "Christ" (pronounced with a short I as in "wrist"), though we always called him either "Thio ("THEE-o", that is, uncle) Christo" (vocative case, so no "s") or "Uncle Chris."

The name Christos is derived from Greek, meaning anointed. It is higher consciousness and higher thinking of the state of being. It is what is referred to in Islam as "Aulia" or Saintly. Being Saintly, the person is, "Ma Elmo" meaning no Karmic Hindrances that things seemingly work out for one's Saintly cause or intent. Anything a Christos minded person touches or in a sense gets involved with, things improve by his examples and words.

The Christos Mind is not vindictive nor begrudging. It treats by examples to uplift, positively. Understanding shortcomings and forgives enduringly. The Christos minded person is amiable, and at time of disputes, is more likely amicable.
